What happens in this clip

After the entire built-in structure is assembled and all wood surfaces are prepared (sanded, primed), the unit should be painted. Although the customer opted to have this step outsourced, it is an essential part of the finishing process. Choose a paint color that complements your interior decor. Once painted and thoroughly dry, proceed to install hardware such as cabinet pulls or knobs on all cabinet doors for the finishing touches, adding both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Step 9 of 10: Finish the Unit

Once the glue has fully dried and the unit is assembled, apply your chosen finish. Start with a primer if painting, then apply two coats of paint. If staining, apply the stain evenly, wipe off excess, and then apply a protective topcoat (polyurethane, varnish). Follow the manufacturer's instructions for drying times between coats.
