Install Reinforced Shelves

What happens in this clip

With the face frame attached, the reinforced shelves can now be permanently installed. The shelves are inserted into the dados, sliding them through the openings in the face frame. Since the shelves are fixed, apply wood glue to the dados and the mating edges of the shelves. Push each shelf firmly into its dado until it is fully seated and flush with the face frame. Use clamps or brad nails to secure the shelves if necessary, ensuring a tight fit.
