What happens in this clip

With the handrail loosely assembled, position it on the steps in the desired location. Use a pencil or marker to precisely mark the four anchor points for the top post onto the concrete surface. Don your safety glasses and hearing protection. Using the hammer drill with the appropriate 3/8-inch concrete drill bit, carefully drill the four holes at the marked locations. Ensure the holes are deep enough to accommodate the masonry anchor bolts. Once drilled, insert the gold masonry anchor bolts into the holes. Some may slide in easily, while others might require gentle tapping with a hammer to fully seat them.
