To repair these, use a wall spackle compound. The video specifically recommends DAP DryDex ready-to-use white spackle compound, which is lightweight and features a dry time indicator; it goes on pink and turns white when it's fully dry and ready for sanding. Apply the spackling product with a putty knife, ensuring it's smoothed out over the imperfection. Allow the spackle to dry completely (until it turns white if using DryDex). Once dry, use a light grit sanding sponge, approximately 220 grit, to sand the patched area smooth, blending it seamlessly with the surrounding wall. For hard-to-reach areas like corners or uneven surfaces, you can use your finger to apply and smooth the spackle.
