What happens in this clip
With the housing securely in place and the power still off, screw the light bulb or LED lamp directly into the fixture's socket. Once the bulb is installed, attach the decorative trim pieces. These trim pieces usually snap or clip into place, providing a finished look that covers the edge of the ceiling hole and integrates the light seamlessly into the ceiling.
