Attach Stringers and Secure Lower Posts

What happens in this clip

Install a 2x8 board directly below the deck joist where the stairs will attach; this provides a solid anchoring point. Secure the cut stringers to this 2x8 using metal stringer hangers and appropriate fasteners. Ensure the stringers and hangers are flush with the top of the 2x8. Next, attach the outer stringers to the previously installed newel posts at the bottom of the stairs. Drill pilot holes near the ends of the boards before driving screws to prevent splitting. Then, install any remaining interior stringers, securing them to the 2x8 at the top and to the footers at the bottom with suitable bracing, anchors, and carriage bolts, ensuring they are level and plumb.

Goal: Securely attach the stringers to the deck frame and stabilize the lower posts.
