What happens in this clip
With the nails set and edges caulked, proceed to fill all the nail holes using the DAP DryDex Spackling & Nail Hole Filler. Apply a small amount of the pink filler directly into each recessed nail hole. Use a putty knife or your finger to smooth the filler flush with the surface of the trim. Allow the filler to dry completely, which will be indicated by its color change from pink to white.
Goal: Conceal nail holes in the trim for a smooth finish
