Affix Stencils to Staircase

What happens in this clip

Once the stencils are tacky, carefully stick each one onto the chosen position on the staircase riser. Press firmly but gently over the entire surface of the stencil to ensure good contact with the surface and prevent paint from bleeding underneath.

Step 4 of 6: Stencil Application (if applicable)

Position the stencil on the stair riser where you want the design. Secure the stencil using painter's tape. Using a stencil brush or a small foam roller, apply paint over the stencil openings. Use a dabbing or light rolling motion to avoid paint bleeding under the stencil. Once painted, carefully remove the stencil while the paint is still slightly wet.
