Install Brackets and Mount Handrail

What happens in this clip

Once your bracket locations are marked, pre-drill pilot holes into the wall studs and then securely fasten the handrail brackets using appropriate screws. Start with the top and bottom brackets, ensuring they are level and aligned with your marked line. Then, attach the handrail to these two end brackets. After the ends are secure and the handrail is correctly positioned, install any intermediate (middle) brackets, ensuring they are evenly spaced and also securely fastened to wall studs for maximum support and stability.

Goal: Secure the handrail to the wall using the installed brackets.

Step 5 of 7: Attach Handrail Brackets

Tighten the screws firmly using a drill or screwdriver until the brackets are snug against the wall and do not move. Ensure they are securely anchored into the studs.
