What happens in this clip

Using a brush, apply one light coat of Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 primer to all surfaces that will be painted white: the balusters, stair stringers, and any molding. This primer creates an excellent base for the paint to adhere to. For detailed areas, such as around the base of the newel posts, use a small flat art paintbrush for precision. After applying the primer, allow it to dry for 30 minutes.
