Stair Baluster Repair

Step 3 · Prepare New Baluster
Measure the length of the old baluster or the gap it occupied. Cut the new baluster to the exact size using a miter saw or handsaw. If the baluster has decorative elements or specific end profiles (e.g., tenons), replicate these on the new one using appropriate woodworking tools. Sand any rough edges smooth.
