Step 2 · Mark Your Center for Flawless Alignment
Using a soft pencil or chalk, lightly mark the center point on the surface of each wooden stair. This mark is your guide for perfect alignment, creating a beautiful, uniform look down the entire staircase. Because our treads are custom-made to fit, you likely won't need to do any trimming.
Oak Valley Info Pro Tip
No nails, screws, or complex adhesives — you don't need a single power tool to get started.
