Step 5 · Install the Stair Treads
Once your landing is securely in place, you're on the home stretch! Proceed with installing your custom stair treads. Whether you work from the landing upwards or downwards, the goal is the same: align the edge of each tread perfectly with the piece next to it. For the upper flight of stairs, the bottom of the first tread should meet the top edge of the landing carpet precisely. This meticulous alignment is the key to achieving that beautiful, continuous look that embodies 'safety meets style' and gives you peace of mind.
