Oak Valley Designs was founded in 2010 by Chappell and Amy Padgett to address the changing demands of the flooring industry. Drawing on decades of experience and a lifelong connection to the carpet business, Chappell set out to develop a product that was versatile, customizable, easy to use, and environmentally conscious. He saw an increasing need for a premium yet cost-effective stair solution—one that offered the elegance of traditional runners without the high cost or long-term commitment.
